Notes on this strip:

- "In the weeds" / "weeded out" / "dans la merde" = completely overwhelmed, too many orders to keep up with, that sort of thing. It has nothing to do with pot. Should have explained that in the strip.

- I worked at both Roswell's and Le Papillon for about two weeks - days hostessing at Le Papillon, nights waiting at Roswell's. The days went something like: up at 8AM, bike commute at 9 AM, host at LP from 10 to 3:30, bike from LP to Roswell's 3:30-4:30, snarf down food, wait shift from 5 PM to 2 AM, bike home 3:00-4:00 AM.
So yeah, that didn't last long. I quit Roswell's pretty quick. In hindsight, that was probably a mistake.

- Aside from just being sort of a jerky thing to do, this sort of prank can gum up the works for multiple people. As to why a manager would do that, no idea.
